These are those beads in the previous picture yesterday that have been bead crocheted into this rope. Pretty neat.

The Start of a new project

Here is a picture of the beginning of one of my projects. This is going to be a bead crochet necklace when completed. This is how is looks when it's in the beginning stages.

Still Wrapping - the gems

Wire is on the brain right now and I have been focusing on some of the my gems. The first pendant below is a lab red ruby corundum and is 13.80 cts. Below the corundum are a front and back picture of a wrapped natural lemon quartz gemstone this one is 41.20 cts. I hope to post some wrapped pieces on ETSY soon! Both of these pendants have Swarovski crystal accents.

Wire Wrapped Bracelet - comments anyone?

I was excited to try to wire wrap using all square wire. I have always used half hard half round wire when I have made wire wrapped bracelets and earrings. I really like this technique!! Check out these pictures of my latest wire wrapped bracelet project.

Another Storm Coming...ouch!

We haven't had time to recover from our recent big storm and now have another on the way tonight. Our street has not been plowed yet after the 32 inches of snow and there is only one path to the main street. Thankfully we have not met another vehicle on our way in and out.

I have finished my bead crochet bracelet that I started during the big storm and here's a couple of pictures. I had so much fun with it and really like the design that I'm making a brown one too.

Before the Storm - 2 feet expected!!!

We are preparing for the major snow storm that's headed our way. Guess I will have to spend my time inside and beading. What's wrong with that? I have several new projects I want to get started on so what better time than now. Here's a picture of my hobby palace before the first snowflake. The snow you see is from our last snow from the previous weekend. I just peeked out the window and it has started!!!
