The Birthday Surprise

Below are a few pictures of a recently completed project that has a history. This project began in 2005 by my daughter Jennifer. The problem was that neither one of us had tried bead crochet. All the beads were strung but now what? A few days before her birthday this January, (Thursday evening and Sunday was the party) I was going to try to get her started by doing a few rounds and asked for her project. After many unsuccessful tries I think I made history and had the rope crocheted! Then I decided to finish it and surprise her for her birthday.
